I used Temperance last month on a client's song who is on the Artoffact Records label (very fun artists here you may want to check).

Experimentation is often a great way to find what works well for you or the material at hand. The way this model produces the note textures is quite beautiful!

For anyone looking for a very musical way to reverberate and add a pad-like chordal quality to a vocal, guitar and even fun tricks with percussive sounds, this may be your next favorite effect!

Dave was a kind fellow.

He spotted me at the Jean-Michele Jarre concert in the bay area some years ago and came up to me to say hello and said, "All The Old Heads are here tonight!"

I was truly honored by that.

We would talk about synth history and music every year at various music conventions and such when he would be in LA. With all the invitations to visit him at his office, I never did, sadly.

Anyhow.... Dave Smith changed the world for the better! I still have my Prophet 600 which he said was his worst. I also have the Pro 2 which is one of my all-time favorite synths though I seem to not use it much at work.

Condolences regarding your wife. I am having a friend rework the clone theory. I have one of the newer ones which is quiety but has a different sound.

I wound up being given one as a gift from a fellow producer at Sunset Sound.

I am aware of the various versions of this and the mods such as the fish, etc. I have the newer one as well as a slew of other chorus / clone pedals and software but always looking to add to the arsenal.

Are you in Philadelphia / Bensalem?

I was in Phila only a few times in the last ten years. I was there recently as my mother passed in October. She and Victor had relocated to Kennett Square a few years ago.

I have been on the hunt for the right one.
