Decent
I was glad to have used two of these on stage for a long time though the interface is quite rubbish. The SPD-SX is certainly a huge step up from this. This is great in that you can store sounds and record sounds inside of it however, the file structure and type is proprietary which was dropped for a regular wave file and streamlined structure with the SX.

A solid beast!!!!
I have worked with a ridiculous variety of interfaces since 1990. Avid beasts to Universal Audio to Apogee and Antelope.... This secret tiger is a tank. It never fails and is mostly just used for performance at this point and not in the studio but I do fire it up at home when needed.

Fun & Easy
The built-in speaker allows for some unusual sounds for when you want to get creative and it is useful for when at home, working on ideas or the quick practice. The smaller scale can take some adjustment but it has been both a fun piece in the family as well as utilitarian.

A unique instrument with a bevy of expressive control
I picked this up second hand in 97 and it was utilized during the Lavender Hill Mob / newgrounds.com and FDA era of early internet entertainment. As a controller, it came before most in terms of the amount of options possible. The sounds are like dreams if you dive deep, which you can!
