The Aelita-1 is an electric guitar manufactured and sold under the iron-curtain of the USSR during the mid-'70s and mid-'80s. It is entirely made of Beachwood, and has a thick black paint coating over the body and neck.

The design of the Aelita is based on the Japanese-made Teisco Tulip (ET-100 / ET-210). It has been rumoured that a physical Tulip was not available to model from, and instead photos were used.

The tremolo-bridge used for the Aelita is a completely custom and oddly robust design, however is reminiscent of a Bigsby tremolo.

The body contains three single-coil pickups, that have a bright sound to them. On each side of the body there are three buttons or rocker switches – depending on the factory it was produced in and the parts available – that control which pickups are turned on and the tone for each pickup. At the bottom of the body there are four potentiometers, three of which control the individual volume of their respective pickup, and one that controls the master volume. Oddly enough, however, it has been seen that factories at the time never wired – or properly wired – the switches, so it is possible that an Aelita may have the incorrect layout.

The aptly-named Custom is a hollow-body electric guitar sold by Univox and manufactured at the Matsumoku factory in Japan during the mid-'60s and '70s. This guitar was sold during the lawsuit-era, and as such, its design was modeled after popular American models at the time; The Univox Custom is modeled after Gibson's ES-335 and the Epiphone Casino guitars.

Unlike the Custom's twin – the Univox Coily – this guitar features a custom two single-coil pickup setup and pickguard with a Fender-style selector switch. The Custom came with both a fixed tailpiece and tremolo tailpiece option.

The H-802 is a solid-body electric guitar model manufactured in Taiwan and sold by Harmony. It was produced from the early-'70s to the mid-'80s, where it was then replaced with the H-804, which was supposed to be the "modern" enhancement of the earlier model.

The body is extremely small and lightweight, with a thick neck that's quite small in width and has the addition of a zero-fret. It features two large single-coil pickups – reminiscent of P90s – that act together as a humbucker; No one pickup can be disabled, instead both pickups work in tandem with each other and go directly to a single tone and volume potentiometer. The sound it produces is great in bass and has a lot of twang.

The bridge was often a Tune-O-Matic style setup with an ashtray-style tailpiece at the end, however, some models featured a tremolo system instead of the fixed tailpiece.
