Underrated
The hate is undeserved, but I get it. Lets talk about the cons and pros.
Pros:
Analog 4 Oscillators, each with two Wave forms to chose from, along with other parameters. 16 Step Sequencer Built in "distortion" Quarter inch jack for each Oscillator voice.
Cons:
No editable parameters besides the oscillators. A bit large for a mini synth with little functionality
Overall, a great synth with some nice sounding oscillators.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
I like using the Timbre Wolf for basslines, and its sequencer.

Amazing first interface.
My music teacher bought this and introduced it to me. I use it everytime I want to record a synth. It sounds professional, and is a great first option.

Nice sounding drum machine.
This tiny Drum machine is better then it seems. The sequencer is nice, and I love the drum samples used. Combining 3 iconic drum kits, the machine includes samples from the TR-808, TR-909 (my personal favorite) and the TR-606.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
At the time of this review, I have not used the T-8 for any tracks, but I have currently been using it for my electronic Jams.
