I love renoise it's great it is easy to use and customization you can script within it and the automation is very good. the reverb is excellent with renoise you are right into the detail it's fast and great for sample mangling.

Iv'e now limited my software setup to Renoise and Dune 2 i create all my own patches and sample internally - this is a great synth good on the CPU and very easy to automate the matrix is great - the FM synth is a bit basic but has its uses id love to see more Wave tables and be able to save wave-tables with the patch but non the less a fantastic synth

On the surface it is minimal and basic yet once you dive in the depth seams to get greater the more you explore - limitations produce more creativity and expand your consciousness. To some a cruel mistress to others a soothing embrace its fun to explore and jam great for ideas and develops your synthesis knowledge. Use the LFO's :-)
