Overall a great guitar but not like too many other Gretsch guitars

Out of the box it was very nicely detailed. I like the flat fretboard. It is definitely a different feeling playing this. The variability of having 6 possible pickup combinations is very nice too. The bigsby is top quality. The volume pots were not, and neither are the pickup switches - but it could be a lot worse. Tuners are great.

Tone-wise, it is definitely a different animal. Most combinations, you will get a much bassy-er tone than you might expect. It is not a go-to guitar, but it has its go-to moments.

The life inside this thing is remarkable

Sound from this amp is immaculate, from the bell-like cleans to the Brian May-like gain when it is dimed. The master volume makes a huge difference and the tone shaping is (for lack of a better word) very conveniently put together with a lot of options. The reverb is digital but sounds great. The only possible gripe I would have is that I cannot switch from clean to full gain on the fly since it is a one channel amp. If I could, I would not need a drive pedal at all.

Useful but wild

This pedal provides so many options of noise - only problem (although it also makes it a more interesting pedal) is that, when your full circuit (meaning wall to string) is not completely consistent, this pedal is so reactive that you will have a different pedal each time you plug in.

Lead channel is superb. Crunch channel not so much

The lead channel on this is perfect for soloing. It is a smooth wailing sound that is sometimes hard to control but brings sweet sounds. The crunch channel is too sandy for me and I don't ever use it.
