I personally favor Ernie Ball. They have the right feel I look for when it comes to strings.

I have a ESP Eclipse I keep in Drop A with 7 string Ernie’s on it, just ditch the high E string.

In conclusion, they’re magical, honestly.

Hello, I found this photo of Jim Root playing a Jackson guitar at a recent show.

It has a white body and white headstock, dot inlays, what appears to be a Floyd Rose, a pickup selector, and two knobs, presumably for volume and such. It also has pickups that look like humbuckers, but since the photo is so grainy, it’s hard to say.

I think it might be a soloist, but if anybody could help me out, that would be much appreciated.

I've been fascinated with Paul's signature bass from the late 2000's, so I wanted to reach out, and see if anybody has one.
