My Gear 4

I've used 2 of these in my time - one's mine and the other was for a support act - and it's always been powerful, punchy, warm, and just a great sound. I bought it for live gigs since my old amp (a 25 watt fender rumble) wasn't loud enough and people complained they couldn't hear me. Now everybody complains they can't hear anything other than me. So picky honestly! It's built like a tank, the case it comes with is handy since you can carry it like a handbag.
I got this at a music shop because I wanted a 5 string for ages and my friend who worked there said they had one going cheap. It has a nice curved back so it fits well against your body and the neck is sanded smooth at the joint so you can really easily play up at the 24th frets. The only part I don't like is the bridge - it's possibly the worst bridge I've ever had to deal with since there are no springs and the height and intonation are kept by jamming a screw into the flat side of a metal chunk. Other than that, it's great to play!
It's just so damn cool. There's nothing to hate, it's just so fun to mess around with!
