Lots of control, takes some practice to dial in
I have this compressor. It is also known as the M76. The MXR M87 Bass Compressor is also the same pedal, just different colors and graphics. I think that the place to start with this pedal is the input knob. That knob really gets the compressor to kick in (or not) based on signal coming in. Once you get the signal to make some of the LEDs to light up, you can move on to the other knobs. Definitely a lot more control than your typical compressor, so if you don't like tweaking knobs, I'd stay away from this one. It also works great with bass - it doesn't cut the low end, which is a problem I had with the MXR Super Comp. Overall, I like this pedal, but it is definitely not something you can just take out of the box and use without reading the manual.

Easy to read, works great
I bought this from a long since gone retailer - Hello Music - where it was on sale. I really like how easy to read the screen is. The pedal is about the size of your standard Boss pedal, but the screen takes up most of the pedal, which means the letters are gigantic compared to a lot of other brands.

Good, but not great
I had this for a couple of years. It certainly can hold its own with other similar reverbs, like the MXR M300, the Digitech Polara, and the EHX Ocean's 11. The toneprint feature is nice, you can hook the pedal up to your phone or your computer and create a toneprint from a template provided by TC Electronic. I felt like the more traditional reverbs, like spring and plate, were just ok, but the modulated reverbs were a little better. Also, the Hall of Fame 1 does not have Shimmer - but the Hall of Fame 2 does. Overall, I felt like all of the reverb modes were good, but none of them were great. It's a nice pedal to have for variety, but if you want a specific reverb that sounds great, you might be better off looking elsewhere.
