Using a modded version by airis effects

comes with a pre and post EQ boost switch. absolutely stellar little pedal

I use the passive variant

the As have some adjustable EQ curve options so they're for sure better.

the old workhorse

highly moddable and great sounding from the jump.

Mine currently has a Dimarzio pegasus in the bridge and a Blaze in the neck.

not the exact same model but close

I own the TUNE TWB53-FM and it's a really interesting bass. this particular bass is one that I use for both gigging and studio. it's an amazing gig bass because the onboard EQ and pickup blend knob make it sound good with pretty much any amp I use, be it my high-end recording gear, or house amps.

in the studio I've had a little more issue with the stock pickups and EQ, as the high-end knob knocks out the top end in the EXACT spot I don't want it gone, leaving me with a opt of high-end scratch and slap when I'm recording. it's still serviceable, but a preamp switch or different pickups is highly recommended if you're going to use it extensively in studio situations and nowhere else

an absolute monster of a super-strat Workhorse

I own the very first of Balaguer's Semi-custom production run Archetypes. (serial number 001) and this thing has been my main workhorse since I got it in 2017. I previously was playing Balaguer's Prototype archetype 7 in videos and with my Band Carthage. the new run's evergreen and Feral Pickups in mine give a really warm and smooth low end in the neck position and lots of mid-range bark in the bridge, which is a perfect mix for the type of music I record and compose.
