Goliath combines many of EastWest's best sampled instruments in one library, with the express purpose of giving you unlimited creative flexibility without switching libraries. This is an excellent fit for media composers, songwriters, and producers who need a quick grab-bag of quality instruments all in one place. You get access to instruments from a variety of other EastWest libraries, but even where there is overlap with your existing collection, it becomes even easier to use some of your favorite instruments (and layer in many new ones).

Independence is made for live performance - it's suitable for multiple applications and is durable and easy to use. A host application has been specially developed for live use, along with an unlimited number of Independence projects and support for multi-core and standard hardware controllers. Independence Live's flexible audio and MIDI routing allows you to switch between projects in realtime and create custom setups for any live event.

Independence FX

This sampler offers a fantastic virtual effects rack with hundreds of presets, filters and effects. You can also access over 45 powerful inserts, for instance Origami convolution reverb, which uses impulse responses.

Use filters and effects separately as effect plugins and arrange them in new sequences - you've total creative freedom. The audio engine in Independence also lets you edit samples with time stretching and pitch shifting and manipulate their sound.

Third party plug-ins Integrating third party plug-ins into the production process is easy using Independence's built-in VST interface.

Keyboards

Features acoustic Pianos in classical, jazz and pop styles, and alternative sounds like Honky-Tonk and Detuned. It also features a best-of selection of famous "suitcase-style" electric pianos from the most respected manufacturers of these bygone instruments. A wealth of Clavinets, Electric Organs and Synth-based keyboard sounds complete the modern part of the collection. Featured traditional keyboard instruments include Church Organs, Accordion, Celesta, Vibraphone, Music box & Xylophone. Finally, an extensive Harpsichord section benefits from the new "Release Trigger" feature that allows realistic recreation of this difficult instrument.

Fretted instruments

Kicks off with an acoustic guitar section. It includes a Nylon guitar custom-made by acclaimed maker Gerome, and a wonderful "spanish-style" nylon guitar. Moving on to steel strings, a 12 strings and several 6 strings acoustics (from prestigious makers like Guild, Martin, Gerome and Maruha) are included. Many Dobro and Bottleneck presets add their unique color to the acoustic section. The electric guitar section packs several clean Strat' sounds through D.I. or amps like Jazz Chorus or Twin reverb. The D.I. are especially handy if you own an amp modeling effect plug-in. Distorted Strat' is included too, captured with the ubiquitous SM57. The legendary Gibson Les Paul is next, sampled through several different amps. The electric section then provides the Gibson 335, Jazz guitars, muted playing style guitars, etc.

The bass section starts with an awesome selection of Double Basses. Then a wide range of electric bass is covered, both fretted and fretless, including all the classic instruments like Jazz Bass, and many others, covering all current styles. And it's not all: volume two include many more sounds like some superb Harp presets and many "ethnic" sounds.

The Ethnic section includes a great selection of usually very rare multisamples like Banjo, Mandolin, Celtic guitar, Lute, Sitar (and electric Sitar), Baglamas, Bozouki, Jubus, Oud, Lute from Morocco, Saz and Tzouras.

Drum & Percussion

Focuses on drum and percussion sounds. It's a superb collection of 5000 drum sounds, noted for its versatile and professional characteristics.

Acoustic Drum kits are sorted by style: Jazz kits, Natural kits (Brushes and Hot Rods), Raw kits (for pop and rock) and Treatment kits (distortion, gate and spring reverbs...). Next comes the electronic drum section. The first folder offers a selection of sounds sorted by machines from which they originates. From the 70's to the 90's there are not many missing boxes in this selection. All the classics are there, and a good number of forgotten models as well.

The Stylistic kits offer another wide selection of electronic drums which are not so instantly recognizable, and are sorted by style rather than by machine: drums for Dance, Electro, Groove, House, Techno, Trash, Jungle, Disco, Lo-Fi, Vinyl...

The Drum & Percs section also includes many Urban "construction kits" of the latest trends: Timba-style, Funk Mood, Talk-boxed, M&M, Pure R 'n B, Hip hop... It features the most powerful drum selection on the planet in the R 'n B flavor. A most inspired toolkit: this is the real heavy stuff.

To complete this rhythmic arsenal, an extraordinary percussion selection is supplied. It features more than 60 different instruments such as Congas, Djembe, Bongos, Shakers, Triangle, Tambourine, Castanets, Windchimes, Clave, Darbuka, Woodblock, Berimbau, Timbales, Rainstick and many more.

World of Synthesizers

512 patches in total, a huge collection of retro and modern synth sounds. The focus of this collection was to supply presets based on a very wide variety of analog, digital, virtual analog and plug-in synthesizers. World Of Synthesizers focuses on real synth sounds taken from a range of essential machines from expensive workstations to specialized sound modules. It gives that collection a variety of sound unrivalled by most hardware modules.

But this is only the basis to play with: the UVI Engine XT allows you to tailor each preset to your need with professional quality tools like amplitude and filter ADSR envelopes, resonant filters, mono mode appropriate for both leads and one of the 160 bass sounds, LFO for filter sweeps, tremolo, autopan, vibrato or even all four at the same time, and much more...

Synth categories provided in the library include: Composites, Flutes, Voices, Tines & Bells, Basses (Acid, analog, disco/house, garage, electropop, hip hop/ R 'n B, sub, techno...), Pads, Soft Pads, Filter Sweeps, Analog Brass, Leads, Organs, Piano-like, Textures/Fx and Short-Reso.

General MIDI

Global collection faithfully follows the GM standard for sound classification. The acoustic and electric piano category is first, followed by Pitched Percussions, Organs, Guitars, Basses, Strings, Ensemble Sounds, Brass, Reeds, Pipes... The collection then moves on to Synth Leads, Pads and Composites, followed by Ethnic, Percussive and Sound Effect categories. It then offers another 128 presets consisting of light versions of the original 128 GM presets. Finally, 7 GM drum kits are supplied, followed by 7 light versions. Most categories feature exceptional samples, including the difficult orchestral sounds, that are particularly good in this global collection.

Orchestral

This section is a truly professional orchestral library, featuring lots of incredible articulations to perform a realistic orchestral piece, including staccato, marcato, spicato, sustain with and without vibrato, pizzicato and runs. It covers strings (violin, viola, cello, contrabass), brass and woodwinds, mallets, percussions... Also a sensational collection of choir ensembles: men, women and children choirs with both vowels and consonants. All classical keyboards like pipe organs and harpsichord are onboard as well.

Discontinued. The SD-80 is a High performance MIDI sound generator with powerful synthesizer engine and high quality waveforms in one slim body.

The SD-80 is equally at home on your desktop or in your rack. We started with a footprint that accommodates either application, added tons of connection options like USB, Coax S/P DIF, Optical S/P DIF and 1/4" phone jacks, then made sure the sounds were just right–all 1050 of them. For flexibility, you can even run specific MIDI channels through assignable audio outputs for outboard effects processing to make the sound all your own.

A complete reproduction of the HI synthesis system

The TRITON released in 1999 came with high-quality PCM samples capture at a sampling rate of 48kHz, which was remarkable at the time. It was a monster machine that came with two types of filters, five insert effects, two master effects, and a master EQ, as well as a combination mode allowing for up to eight of multi-timbral parts to be played simultaneously. The KORG Collection TRITON completely reproduces the original’s HI (Hyper Integrated) synthesis system in software, so you can experience the sounds that shaped the 2000s.

Supervised by original TRITON developers

For the KORG Collection, sound quality is life. The KORG Collection TRITON, of course, reproduces original PCM samples and effect circuits, but also the subtle sound texture unique to the hardware. To achieve this, TRITON’s original engineers supervised the development process to fine tune the software down to the smallest details.

Over 4,000 ready-to-go sound programs

All kinds of producers, especially Hip Hop and R&B in the 2000’s, loved the TRITON’s sounds. “Preset sounds that can be used as is” were never fully realized before the TRITON. Even famous producers kept the presets around to help them make highly original sounds one after another. The KORG Collection TRITON comes with every on of the original TRITON preset programs. All eight of the EXB-PCM expansions are included, boosting the number of programs to over 4,000. You can obtain the vast sounds that are ready to go and easy to use to this day.

When you have vast numbers of preset programs, you might find yourself lost trying to find that perfect sound, wasting time that you could be making music. The KORG Collection TRITON comes with an easy to use sound browser that allows you to filter by musical instrument category and sound character. These two types of tags will lead you to the sound you are looking for instantly.

The EASY mode that gives you instant access to important parameters

The KORG Collection TRITON comes with the characteristic vast number of parameters to meets your most specific needs. For when that level of control is a bit too much, the newly designed EASY mode will allow you to shape your sound on a single page. You can quickly access frequently used parameters like oscillator and effect selections, as well as filters and EQ adjustments, making rough edits of sounds and minor adjustments of presets effortless.

Full of ready-to-go phrases with 307 dual arpeggiators patterns

The TRITON came with a built-in 16-track sequencer and took the music world by storm as a music workstation that could single-handedly create music. Although the KORG Collection TRITON does not come with a sequencer, it does come equipped with the same powerful dual polyphonic arpeggiator as the original. The 307 types of practical presets, including melodies, riffs, and drum patterns, are incredibly useful for songwriting. The arpeggiator can create endless original phrases by adjusting GATE or VELOCITY parameters. From simple idea sketching to serious music creation, the arpeggiator is a handy tool in any musician’s toolbox.

In 1991, Roland released the JD-800—a forward-thinking, digital synthesizer sporting a huge range of hands-on controls and a gleaming, complex sound. The instrument would soon find its way onto classic albums and numerous film and television scores, and it remains highly sought after to this day. Thanks to our advanced modeling engine that incorporates the original waveform data, you can now have the unique sound and experience of this vintage digital icon in a modern software instrument.

The return of the hands-on synth. By the early ’90s, preset-driven digital synths with limited hands-on controls dominated the landscape. The JD-800 changed all that in 1991, bringing the synthesizer world back to its roots with a massive control-laden panel and an unapologetically electronic sound palette. With its player-focused workflow, evocative sounds, and powerful effects, the JD-800 was a favorite for top electronic music producers throughout the ’90s and beyond.

A different kind of synthesizer. Using D-50-style waveforms with multimode resonant filters, the JD-800 took a different approach to other synthesizers of the day and offered a glimpse at the exciting future of hybrid synthesis. Each of its four layers is like a complete synthesizer in its own right, with flexible modulation routing and time-variant amp and filter envelopes. This unique architecture, complex tonality, and immediate hands-on experience has endeared the JD-800 to many hard-core synth fans over the years.

Authentic JD-800 sound and behavior. The JD-800 Software Synthesizer is painstakingly crafted to sound and behave exactly like the original hardware. Rather than simply a bunch of JD-800 samples, we used the original waveform data along with advanced modeling techniques to perfectly recreate the big, bright, spacious sound that only the JD-800 can deliver.

Special effects. A key ingredient of the JD-800’s sound was its formidable multistage effects section. It’s been carefully recreated here and enhanced with an expanded view perfect for realtime tweaking. In addition to a master EQ, there are seven effects that can be rearranged via drag and drop to customize your signal flow. Choose from distortion/overdrive, enhancer, spectrum equalizer, phaser, chorus, triple-tap delay, and a selection of reverbs, each with multiple parameters that vastly change the sonic character.

There are also 64 new presets, expertly crafted to show how inspiring and evocative the JD-800 can be in a modern context. A thoroughly modern software instrument. While the JD-800 sounds exactly like its vintage counterpart, it’s wrapped in a modern plug-in designed for today’s creative environments. The hyper-realistic interface is resizable for high-resolution screens, and VST3, AU and AAX formats ensure it works with your favorite DAW. While the sound is huge, it’s kind enough to your CPU to run multiple instances with lots of polyphony. And it natively supports Apple silicon for the highest level of performance on modern Macs.
