Pro Junior is a tube guitar amp manufactured by Fender. It's a class A 15-watt combo with a 10 inch speaker. Designed in 1992 by Bruce Zinky and released onto the market in 1993. It has been revised few times since then and also offered in some special editions along the way. It contains a pair of 12AX7 tubes, one used as a two stage preamp and the other as a phase splitter to drive the push-pull EL84 output tubes. Early Pro Juniors were equipped with 20-watt blue Eminence Alnico 10 speakers. Later versions used 30 watt ceramic Eminence "Fender Special Design" speakers, and the latest, 4th edition has Jensen P10R speaker. Originally produced in California, in 2001 production was moved to the Ensenada factory in Mexico. Notable special editions include: - the Woody edition - Pro Junior with a cabinet and handle made of higher grade woods. - relic edition - limited edition of Pro Juniors and matching (in color) Custom Shop Stratocaster or Telecasters in relic finish.

Featuring true NOS Russian germanium diodes this modified Archer has now become a feature on a legendary guitarist’s pedalboard replacing the Klon as heard all over the album “Loud Hailer” and on stage. Accompanying the NOS diodes, several key components found in the original Archer have been replaced with vintage NOS variants. The results are what Rockett believes to be the best sounding iteration of that mythical circuit to date.
