Alright for beginners
This software very limited, you cannot sample and if you want to make anything substantial on here you will need to buy or download external sound packs (Ableton's website has some). You should probably upgrade to Ableton Suite or get FL Studio Producer if you are serious about music production. Apparently a lot of people say this software is frustrating to use but I don't think so, there is probably a learning curve but since I have used this software since forever I wouldn't remember or know. All-in-all as intro (and only an intro) I would recommend this, but upgrade when it's time.
Version: Ableton Live 9807
Good to get you started
KS 49 is good keyboard to get you started with. This was originally my dads keyboard then mine. I used it for the basics and it did its job well. When I decided that music was going to be a permanent thing for me I upgraded to a Oxy 49. But I would give this keyboard five starts, it's solid and gets the job done.

The keystation is excellent! A must have for any beginner electronic musician!
The M-Audio Keystation is a solid keyboard It needs no power supply, just plug it it to your computer using a usb and you are set! What is great is that it is simple and affordable, which makes it great for beginners.
