Amazing.

Image-Line's default transient processor does so much more than you think. It doubles as an up-down compressor specifically for transients. I like to add this to the master track to give the sound more flavor.

Master track titan.

Every producer needs this, in my opinion. Up/Down compression can help add more noise to your sound, and works like glue. On the master track, this is always first. I set everything to 50-75% and then turn the depth knob to 15%.

Really good EQ.

Extremely versatile and saves a ton of ram on my PC. It's simple, easy to use, and has an "auto" mode that decides which type of filter is best to use in whichever situation. Plus it has like 31 or something bands (I forgot), so I don't need 99 instances.

Love it!

Blackhole is a super powerful reverb plugin. Again, I got this when it was on sale on Plugin Boutique, and i've just been using it so much. While SpaceBlender is good for making atmospheres, this is my all-purpose reverb.

Atmosphere generator.

When I saw that Soundtoys was offering a free plugin for a limited time, I got it almost instantly. Spaceblender is easily one of my favorite reverb plugins. It adds a ton of depth to my atmospheres. Not much else to say.

Unique.

Codec does something completely different than it's original purpose, and that's why I love it. I can emulate the sounds of a terrible Xbox Live mic, and it makes funny sounds. Super unique.

I physically cannot sound design without this.

Snap heap is my favorite plugin of all time. It's a literal "build-your-own-effect" engine with tons of different options and ways to modulate it, meaning I don't need to spam automation clips. Check out my preset bank on Gumroad!

Hoping to upgrade to Dune 3 soon.

Dune is one of my favorite analog synths of all time. It's super easy to use, and has a really good library of presets that I use a lot. The arp is a bit difficult to understand, but it's powerful once you get to know it. Hoping to upgrade from this soon, because I loved it.

Perfection.

Jun Ishikawa (the composer for Kirby games) used this and ever since I wanted to get my hands on it myself. So when it was on sale for 25 dollars on Plugin Boutique, I didn't miss my chance. I dived right in and got it for myself. I absolutely LOVE Sampletank. I got rid of all my other acoustic instrument plugins after getting it, since the library is extremely versatile. While I tend to stick to synthesizers, Sampletank has done a lot in the event that I needed something acoustic. It has just about every instrument you can think of. It also has some nice synth sounds as well.

My first plugin.

I actually used Vital as a standalone application before FL. I actually did a youtube stream of myself using it for the first time. I made my own synth one shots and then dropped them right in the bandlab sampler. Vital can do SO much more than you think.

Creativity!

I can layer 3 different pad sounds inside of one plugin, making atmosphere design like 50 times easier. Amazing free rompler.

It's a lot more powerful than you think.

I used BandLab for 3 years, and I really have a lot to thank despite its limitations. I didn't get an actual computer until after I graduated, so I just used whatever tools I had available on mobile to make music. I love its sampler, by the way. Here's a fun fact: "Astral Travel" was made entirely on Bandlab alone.

Trackspacer has saved my mixes.

I tend to run into phasing issues a lot in my mixes, but setting Trackspacer to 5/10% seems to instantly solve my problems.

I love it.

This is my go-to plugin for sound design and anything granular-synthesis related. It's made the process of creating soundscapes easier than ever. I also used this for synths a few times, though I tend to use other plugins for that. Phase Plant does me so much. I get an analog, wavetable, granular, noise, AND sampler synth all in one, plus it's super light on my CPU, meaning my PC won't explode.

Not to mention I can use the other Kilohearts plugins right inside of it, which makes it even more convenient for me.
