There's very little Serum can't do.
As the title says, there is very little this synth can't do. At the surface it might look like a wavetable synth with a subtractive signal chain, but once you dive deeper into making wavetables, FMing the four sound sources together, using mathematical formulas to make additive-like wavetables, this synth essentially covers all the bases. Use the noise oscillator as a sampler and it can even become an extremely advanced sampler. The amount of features that are packed into this synth is insane. I've owned it and used it on a daily basis for four years and I still find new features or new ways of combining features. The modulation matrix is super flexible, you can for example do audio-rate modulation of any parameter, making it able to do things that usually only hardware modular synths are capable of.

Amazing effect for massive reverbs, choruses and delays.
This might be the best free plugin out there. Let's you morph a delay into a reverb, by splitting each delay repetition into many slightly offset delays, as the delay feeds back, the spread accumulates, slowly turning the repeating delays into a reverberation, giving the impression that each delay repetition moves further and further away. For delays this gives an extra dimension of control to the timbre of the delay, and with frequency modulation, this is an instant vibe-maker. With lower densities of the repetitions, it can even act as a sort of granular (not really granular, but similar sound) delay.

Great functionality, finicky drivers
Use it with a windows laptop and FL Studio 20. The hardware iteslf is amazing for the price, really clean digital preamps with low noise floor. Nice spatious front and back panel. The biggest issue are the drivers, sometimes they crash my DAW or they create conflicts. The maximum buffer size is also limited to 1024 samples, which is sometimes just not enough. Wish they'd release a firmware update to bring it up to at least 2048.
