Perfect pairing for a P

Have these on my Fender Player series P bass with maple fretboard and it sounds super cool. Tone halfway, you get that Fat oldschool p bass sound, that classic p bass sound that can do it all and always sounds just right! If u need more grit, I put the tone all the way up.

P bass and flats is the best.

one of the best bass string

nickel plated steel on a round core. The sound is very well balanced that will work great on any bass. Pretty bright at first, but mellow quickly and retain a great tone for ages. Seriously these last the longest of any string ive ever had. They feel really smooth and easy to work with. Won't eat your frets either. They tick all the boxes.

They are named sunbeams because they are both really warm, and really bright, and its true. They arent overly anything, they are just really musical and balanced tone. They have this thing going on in the mids that are just really special too. You do however need to wear them in for a week or two to settle that initital zing.

Overall, perhaps the most versatile, musical sounding, and long lasting bass string I've ever encountered. A real pleasure.

I had to rate these strings 4 stars instead of 5, as the feel is really lacking. The tone is great, they last a long time, but the tension is REALLY soft, too soft for me. I prefer the slightly bigger, fattter lows of the roundcore boomers by GHS, as well as the balanced construction and the tension.

I string these onto my cort artisan bass. My main bass, the fender jazz, wears GHS roundcore boomers.

EDIT: I wouldn't say "deep" bass. They are'nt much deeper than ur average jazz bass pickup, but they have a nice prominent bass is what I meant to say. Real punchy and solid. Not too deep, not too tight, with enough fatness in there to be heard in the low registers. The good stuff!

if I could say one thing about it's ability for us as a proffesional recording device: it will certainly do the job and sound great, as long as you're happy to record each instrument at a time, however two things you should be mindful of: it doesn't take mics, so you'll need a seperate interface for that... luckily IK multimedia also offers an irig for mics! Otherwise, the better option, if you save a bit more, would be the irig pro I/O as it also supports midi and mics.

And two: the gain level doesn't go that high until the signal starts to clip. It's not too bad, but there's certainly some room for improvement in that department! If you have your gain around level 5, you'll have to be mindful of how hard you play cos it's very easy to start clipping at this stage... but every instrument is different so just play around with it.

Good Value all in one solution for on the go

Very high quality build, feels really nice, super small and portable, really easy to use, doesnt take long to find your way around all the features and settings. Effects, Amp sims even choose "speaker size", EQ, edit your own patches, save them, name them and move them around. Adjust the signal chain of effects. Built in looper and tuner, headphones jack, AUX in, Powered by 4 AA batteries (really really short battery life!) or PSA adapter 240V (not included with the boss gt1-b!)

Can connect to computer via USB for accessing Boss Tone Studio, to manage patches, back them up, download others (theres not many), or for recording into a DAW.

Are the effects as good as individual pedals... very very close, but... NO. But hey... you get this whole unit, with all the effects you could possible need for bass, (plus extra, pretty useless stuff too, not gonna lie), plus all these other great features, all in a convenient package for the price of what you would spend normally for one individual pedal, maybe even less... but you're not getting garbage, you are getting a solid product!

Really, for what it is, its a STEAL... crazy value!! In that way, I wouldn't think twice about getting one
