Great versatile unit - solid TC sounds in one unit.

I've had both the G Major and now the G Major 2. Have used the both live and in the studio and never have missed a beat. The GM2 is a solid step upfront the previous version in hardware and sound.

Reasonably priced as well. If you can find one, get one - it does a lot of things very well in one 19" unit.

Great value, good preamps and very versatile.

Tube-like solid state amplifier. Powerful and quiet.

Use this in my W/D/W rig. Great stereo rack mount power amp. 2 channels. Addition of fans make it whisper quiet and cool under all conditions, especially in the studio. A lot of people use these in their AxeFx-type set up with great results. Can run mismatched cabs too - a nice bonus. Completely transparent and a great piece of gear.

A great versatile high quality Japanese Stratocaster

Made in early 90s, these HRR (Hot Rod Reissue) Stratocasters featured a Floyd Rose tremolo and a Dimarzio humbucker (push/pull splittable) in the bridge, plus 2 quality single coils. 3-ply pick guard, 22 frets and locking nut. Later models have a foto-flame finish.

Great for rock and 80s/90s metal plus the 5-way switch gave you classic Strat tones across a very broad spectrum. I believe Richie Sambora used one of these and it was the basis for his signature Stratocaster (his had the star fretboard markers).

I've read Fender stopped manufacturing this Japanese-made model, because the quality was so good, it was creating unwanted competition with the U.S. made Floyd Rose Classic Stratocaster.

If you can find one - grab it. Japanese Fenders of the 80s/early 90s rival their US counterparts.

Four 25W Celestion Greenbacks make this cabinet a joy to play through. Warm, articulate with a bit of earlier break-up. Coupled with a Marshall SLP100, it is one of the best sounds ever to a musician's ears. I've used it with amps from 1W to 100W and it just shines in all applications. Mine is 18 years old and it just gets better with age.

Surprisingly awesome. Soldano designed.

Designed by Soldano - made in China. Great amp - usable right out of the box. Uses the same lead channel as the SLO100 (apart from a few values). Footswitchable channels with a very usable EQ.

Can be known to be biased "cold" upon shipping, making it sound a little lifeless and harsh. Don't despair (or sell it) - if so simply re-bias and you can also add a depth mod (ala SLO100) and can get quite close to that iconic SLO sound.

Great value if you can find one, I'll be keeping mine.

One of the best rock amps - period.

I own a 1997 35th Anniversary 1959SLP. Super Leads are "the" Marshall sound. Many say a one trick pony but responds great to your guitar controls and pick attack to give you quite a bit of variety. Paired with a 1960AX with Celestion Greenbacks - one of the greatest rock tones ever.

Iconic piece of studio gear

Used on almost every recording in the late 80's and early 90's, this unit is still found in most of the top studios today. The D/SE had presets from Steve Vai and Bob Clearmountain and was part of the Eddie Van Halen guitar sound throughout this period. Not only for guitar, this unit sounds wonderful on every instrument, not to mention drums, synths and vocals. A myriad of presets and programmable algorithms and parameters, this unit can keep you inspired and busy for decades to come.
