Super sound, but very fragile
It sounds amazing for the money. The presets are even grat.. I guess that enough for most people to motivate for a purchase, but the gear ist very fragile. After 3 Weeks I ran into the freeze Problem. (Just google it an you will find sufficient vids to explain). The are just plug chips and data busses, which become quiet fast loose. So I have to open it now and try to fix them unless it is not a well know condensator issue. all tree possible explanation for the freeze, which make it difficult in terms of live reliability.

Great Rack Effects
I originally had the TC G-Major rack unit. That failed after many years where the buttons collapsed (made of plastic). Later I bought this newer version that is more flexible and has more effects inside it. I repaired the TC G-Major 1 and still use that also. Both of these effects units are extremely good at the effects side of things and to collect the pedals to do what these do could cost you thousands.

Great versatile unit - solid TC sounds in one unit.
I've had both the G Major and now the G Major 2. Have used the both live and in the studio and never have missed a beat. The GM2 is a solid step upfront the previous version in hardware and sound.
Reasonably priced as well. If you can find one, get one - it does a lot of things very well in one 19" unit.

The TC units appear to be used for any digital effects, all of which takes place before the guitar signal hits the amp and is over driven. In this video Pete point out the units are used primarily for the stereo chorus on May's wet-dry-wet rig, but also perform various delays required for different songs as well as harmony/pitch shift at the 'step up/down effect used on "A Kind of Magic" and "Another One Bites The Dust".
