In this YouTube clip from the 1969 Memphis Country Blues Festival, Johnny Winter is seen playing his heavily modified Fender Mustang Electric Guitar. In old interviews, Johnny has expressed a preference for brighter Fender-like tones on shorter scale guitars, which perhaps explains his choice of the Mustang here.
