In the YouTube video titled "KoRn Band Rehearsal #1 1996 Rare Footage" by kornmemorabilia, James Shaffer, known as "Munky," is seen using his Ibanez Universe UV70P-BK in Gray. Munky also covered the entire body with electrical tape, marking this as the third iteration of the guitar. This version was primarily used as a secondary guitar during the "Life is Peachy" recording period and in performances from 1996 to early 1998. Munky mentions in a Premier Guitar interview that after the neck issues, the guitar lost its original tone, which led to its secondary status. The guitar is visible throughout the video, especially at the 10:41 mark.
