Noel Gallagher used a Gibson Les Paul Custom Electric Guitar, notably during Oasis' famous Wembley concert on July 21, 2000, while covering Neil Young's "Hey Hey, My My." This guitar, distinguished by an "Oasis" sticker on the white pickguard, was the second Les Paul Custom given to him by Johnny Marr, formerly of The Smiths. Marr mentions in this video that the guitar was used during the recording of "The Queen Is Dead" album and possibly for Oasis' 2004 album "Don't Believe the Truth." The guitar also appeared in the "Whatever" music video, the 1994 Cabaret Metro concert in Chicago, and a performance on Jools Holland in 1994.
