Effects Pedals used by Daniel Johns on Diorama (U.S. Version)

Guitar Synth Pedals

Electro-Harmonix EH-7900 Micro Synthesizer

Avg price: $323.51

Used on his pedalboard from 2002 til the end of silverchair. He used this pedal heaps in diorama album and also live. On the album he'd use it to thicken up distorted tones. Live, he'd use it to get a crazy buzz-saw fuzz sound with a subtle low octave beneath it. Notably used on The Lever and the end of Without You

Equalizer Effects Pedals

Boss GE-7 Graphic Equalizer

Avg price: $119.58

Daniel Johns uses the Boss GE-7 Graphic Equalizer, as shown on his pedalboard in a photo from 2007, uploaded to Wordpress.

He had one on his board from 1996 - 1999. He used it as a huge boost / treble boost.

In the Diorama era he added another one to his board. One used as a boost pedal, one used as a sort of mid boost.

He used it all over the Diorama album, especially on his clean tones

Chorus Effects Pedals

Rocktron Tsunami Chorus

Avg price: $59.00

In this picture here from the Diorama recordings you can see the chorus next to the fuzz factory. The original full picture doesn’t fit here but either click on this or copy and paste it - https://imgur.com/a/YJZzwAR
