He personalized this guitar with stickers. Additionally, he uses another black Telecaster, distinct from the one featured in "Underclass Hero." A user-uploaded photo confirms this usage.

In a video shared on Instagram by Deryck Whibley, he discusses his use of the ESP LTD MC 600 Viper Max Cavalera signature model. Whibley mentions that during the recording of Sum 41’s album "Chuck," all rhythm guitars were tracked using a MC 600 owned by their producer, Matt Hyde. Later, while recording "13 Voices," Whibley purchased his own MC 600, stating he wanted that specific sound. He notes that his guitar includes a Bare Knuckle pickup, unlike the Seymour Duncan JB pickup in the "Chuck" guitar.
