According to Porl Thompson's technical engineer, Thompson purchased the guitar backstage during a performance in Los Angeles, where Gibson had set up a booth. Thompson played this guitar during the Wish Tour in 1992 and on The Jonathan Ross Show on January 23, 1991. Serial number 8 0537.
