Amazing piece of gear for recording silently
It's simply the best and the flexibility to record both DI AND your amp is incredible.
Fantastic Classic Metal tone
Runs into my Rack mount power amp, but sits on my board. So easy to use direct in for recording and live for consistency of tone. Goes from Sabbath and knocks on the door of modern sounds (but doesn't quite get to some really extreme sounds without outside help). The flexibility and different channels are wonderful, as well as the Crunch/Lead feature for the drive channel. No need to have a separate boost pedal for solos! 100% would buy again and makes me want another AMT preamp.
Simple perfection
So simple and easy to use, but it really dials in about any tremolo sound you could want for 98% of applications (that aren't totally avant-garde or just plain noise).

I'm amazed all the time. I pretty much never turn it off because with totally neutral settings, it just tightens up the mid range, makes cleans meaty without taking away the shimmer, and sures up the mids in distorted rhythms and leads.
Surprisingly versatile
Surprisingly versatile classic crunch that drives tubes really nicely. Marshall JCM in a stomp and goes all the way from late 60s to 80s plexi sounds. Does not do modern hi-gain and the presence is low in this pedal, so it may not always help[ you cut through a mix without a very trebly guitar or amp settings, additional EQ, or a treble booster. Very high mid-range.
Great all around comp/sustainer that is Always On
Tightens up signal and adds sustain like a champ with really no drawback.
Sometimes I question the accuracy with low frequency/extended range
Sometimes I question the accuracy with low frequency/extended range... But otherwise, does a decent job. Though, I think my Snark may actually be a better tuner.
