I've always been about guitar players, who use a floating tremolo, and use it well as a tool to enhance and spice up their performance. The problem is, that basically there are very few options, if you want a decent wide range tremolo, which stays in tune and feels nice to operate with. What I like with Kahler is, that due to the rollers system, the string remains at the exact same measure, and height above the pickup all the time, no matter how hard you're dive-bombing, Dime-squealing, etc. This is essential, because it doesn't change the harmonic content of the string, and therefore the tone itself, so I find this very important and cool feature. Also, being a girl, playing on 8-string guitar, I need something, that I don't need to push with my both hands, and Kahler is the exact solution for it - it is the softest tremolo I've ever known. Honestly, the tremolo bar on my 8-string, tuned in standart tuning, feels softer, than the Floyd Rose bar on a 7-string, tuned whole step down - it's hard to demonstrate, but if you want to see me doing so on skype - just ask! :) Another nice feature is that the setting options of the Kahler tremolo are way more versatile, than the other tremolo systems I know - besides the standard length adjustiments, you've got an individual saddle height adjustiment, which gives you the opportunity to adjust the string height to the exact radius of the neck; also you've got options to set up the spacing between the string saddles, according to your preferences, and all of these operations are made by simple hex-key actions, not requiring to take off the strings or other hardcore action, involving serious engineering knowledge. One more major advantage is, that the installing process of the Kahler tremolo doesn't require carving out 1/6 of the wood of the guitar body, but just a small routing on the top, which is essential, according to the concept "More wood - more tone and sustain." Also, the customer service is perfect, and this is very important factor, you know ;)

Since I played on a Seymour Duncan pickups in the late 90's, I fell in love with the brand. Everything they do is very precise, a lot of cool models, that could satisfy every taste, even mine! Basically, I am playing progressice rock/metal, so I needed something, that is high-output, but has good and clear tone definition at the same time (I'm a die-hard Jason Becker fan), especially on the low end, because I am using an 8-string guitar. Well, "Pegasus" gave me exactly what I needed, and I even did a single-coil split switch, so I can get the maximum of this great pickup. I totally recommend it for all the proggers out there!

I've never been much into guitar floor processors, but at certain point I needed to get something cool, functional and well sounding. All my searching and previous experience led to getting the GT-8. I recorded my whole first album with it, with no amps or additional plugins and stuff, except some minor EQ interventions. People still ask me how I got this kickass sound. I think it's enough said :)

I am a big fan of ENGL for years and I was looking for something cool and compact, which could produce the typical tube ENGL sound, but could be used for silent recording. Well, the E530 is a really great solution for such purposes. I even use it with no additional plugins or simulations - just a small EQ via my Boss GT-8, plugged in the fx loop - these devices are a wonderful combination to put in your bag and go kicking some ass with a cool sound, still caring just a sack, but not large and heavy stuff.

I've always loved the Jackson's necks, so I risked and bought this guitar blindly. Right when I started playing on it, I felt this relief of "not screwing up", but even the contrary. I tested a lot of 8-string guitars, but this one is the best in it's price range - great manifacturing, very comfortable neck, especially if you're into shredding - Jackson were always amongst the top notch in this category and this guitar makes no exception. Totally recommend!
