Well Built but Limited

There are only 12 preset sounds on this machine, but most of them sound really rich and full. The auto chord features on the CT-360 are really fun play with because for each drum style (12 in total) there are different arpeggios.

Lovely Small Unit

I love this thing. Compact but huge. Wouldn't ever recommend programming it through the front panel though! Good thing there are plenty of computer programs that can make programming a lot easier.

I was given one in the 90s and I don't think I recorded it once until I got software for it (and for my DX7)... then it was like FM everywhere!

allanlegemaate

Haha, I believe it. I couldn't imagine the horrors of making sounds from the front panel. I thought the DX7 was difficult and then I got this one. Both have very powerful synth engines that are just so hard to work with unless you have the software!

A Fun, Easily Bendable Toy

As a part of the Casio SA series, you can't expect too much. However, these little machines are lightweight, retro and loads of fun. If you stumble upon one of these at a thrift store buy it!

Lovely little keyboard

With only 2 operators, this tiny FM keyboard is able to make some super neat sounds. With a little reverb this keyboard sounds absolutely beautiful.

West German Sound

What this is, is basically an electric accordion made in West Germany. Made in the 60's, the Harmochord is a unique piece of equipment that not very sought after today. Inside there is a fan that pushes air through the reeds so instead of having to manually pump air though it, you can focus on playing. It features a 3 octave keyboard, a chord matrix and of course, an authentic accordion sound.

Fun in its own way

This keyboard is of course, a low end keyboard not to mention it is from the late '80's. It was introduced into the world as being the 'second cheapest sampler' only beat by the earlier model, the SK-1. Most musicians saw it as a toy, initially, but after a number of artists used it in their own professional compositions, it was raised up from that status. Now, these keyboards are a fun addition to any setup due to the low-fi 8bit sound that is often sought after. Also includes a handy recording function for layering!

TL;DR Its old and has low sound quality, but this instrument is a hella good time

I began using this in the late 2000's.

I honestly thought that this is how you made modern electronic music. Its a great tracker that still has support today!

One great synth

The amount of variety on this machine is amazing. Every time I use it I learn more and more about it.

Welcome to the 90's

These old keyboards were one of the first economically available sample based keyboards that any home could own. Comes equipped with 100 patches ranging from piano to typewriter. Definitely a fun little keyboard to mess around with.
