Faulty Ernie Ball String Set

I bought a faulty Ernie Ball string set and contacted them so I got a new string pack and a rainbow strap to replace it. Thanks.

Essential

I never knew how important compression pedals are until I owned this. I love it. It's nearly more than just a compression pedal, it adds flavor.

A very basic amp

It gets the job done. Tape din port is an upside. Spring reverb sounds great to me. I broke mine with feedback, it blew 2 fuses and I replaced them but something else was broken too so I couldn't be bothered to fix it. I saved the spring reverb and other useful parts, like jacks which aren't soldered to the board so they're easy to remove and the ugly knobs. I also saved the top and bottom boards.

Great first reel to reel

great way to get familiar with reel to reels. Basic functions are very simple, but it seems to have less obvious features you can only use by reading the manual. Personally still haven't gotten the sync feature to work at all, seems overly complicated.

My favourite guitar

I put together a Tele with a Fender(!!) stratocaster neck. I also added a tremolo, so which one is it really, a tele or a strat?

Everything else is pure Tele, classic knobs and Fender's standard Tele pickups.

Seems to have a way, way less hum going on when plugged to an amp than my friend's 80's strat. Both have single coils, it's just that he has 3...

Bought an orange, but I got a lemon instead.

These amps are silk-screen printed and mine missed the red layer, whoops.
