I have the 4th Gen version (which I cracked LOL). It gets slow and laggier as time progresses but for a kid who is an Apple Fangirl and doesn't need to call, they should get it. Personally, I kind of think it's overpriced.

It's a cheap mouse. Good for average use.

Dell Inspiron 15R Special Edition

The processor and 8gb of ram performs well on this laptop. One thing that I would complain is that the Graphics Processor is kind of underpowered compared to the CPU. Overall it's good for normal usage and a bit of gaming.

Logitech Z-623 Speaker System

This thing rattles tables and windows with it's huge and crazy amount of bass. Put the volume on 1/3 and the bass to the max with some bass boosted music and you will get bass heaven. Mids and Highs are good. One thing I don't like is the hissing noise but the crazy bass makes up for it. For the price and the sound your getting, it's worth it.
