What more could you ask for in a Les Paul Studio?

I like mine. Try one yourself before you listen to reviews - bad or good.

It's lightweight - around the same as a Basswood Strat or Tele.

The pickups are nice and bright.

It plays well.

Awesome guitar! I finally own a PRS!

This may be the 'entry level' PRS. But, it's HIGH quality! I love it! Easy to play. The stock pickups are easy to work with. Just solid all around!

Locking tuners, ebony fretboard, weight relief, heel cutaway, CTS pots, ProBuckers - It's just an incredible package!

This IS a Les Paul. Period.

I've played Gibson Les Pauls here and there during the 4 decades I've been playing guitar.

Once fully set up, this performs the exact same way every Gibson I've played does. You can upgrade the pickups to taste - which I did with the bridge pickup (put in a DiMarzio to make this a Tom Scholz Boston guitar). It's a great guitar and fully worthy of the Les Paul name, in my opinion and with my experience using Gibson Les Pauls.

Excellent for Boston when paired with an EQ Pedal!

I use this for the classic Boston tone of the debut album and Don't Look Back.

I pair it with a 7-band EQ pedal and it's a great solution to spending a ton of money on an old Rockman and a Sustainor!

The only drawback is that it doesn't seem to reduce the distortion much. But, it IS a 'hot' pedal. So, I can't fault it for that too much!

Excellent Pedal for JCM800 tone!

This does the Marshall JCM800 tone perfectly! It's a great solution to my portable Boston tone rig I needed!

I just got this. My first P90 guitar.

As with the Callisto STD +DS Les Paul copy I got from Rondo Music today (who sells SX guitars), this needed NOTHING done to it! Everything was spot on (Intonation, Neck Relief, String Height). It's a great sounding guitar and plays very smooth! SX guitars are great!!

I just got this today. It plays like a dream!

I couldn't believe how LITTLE I had to do to this guitar when I got it! The intonation, neck relief, string height, and fret-work were all spot on!!

Then I plugged it and tried it out on one of the Boston presets I made for Overloud TH-U.... and I became an instant fan of SX Guitars!!

Awesome Les Paul that's thinner, lighter, and looks like a proper Les Paul

This guitar is excellent! I've done a wide variety of music with it! It has Coil-Splitting on both pickups and the tone knob for the neck pickup switches the phase of that pickup!

Versatile!

Nice cheap and decent project guitar!

These guitars go anywhere from $50-$65 where you find them. I got mine on Ebay for $50. It arrived needing a neck shim, 3 frets filed, and (of course) new strings and a decent set up. I upgraded mine with a $17 YiBuy loaded pickguard with some somewhat hot ceramic single-coils and it absolutely sings now! It's also VERY lightweight! So, it's a decent project guitar, beginner guitar (if worked on and set up), and modding platform! I could see building a cheap 'Frankenstrat' out of one of these!

GODLY Distortion!!

There's a reason that everyone's been using these pickups - especially all my influences for starting guitar in the first place.

And now, I know. They're incredible!! SO clear!!
