Blind Pilot is an indie folk band originating from Portland, Oregon, known for their emotive storytelling and melodic charm. The group was co-founded by Israel Nebeker (vocals, guitar) and Ryan Dobrowski (drums), and has expanded to include Luke Ydstie (bass) and Kati Claborn (multi-instrumentalist). Their sound weaves elements of indie pop, new americana, and stomp and holler, creating a rich tapestry of acoustic and electric textures. Often joined by additional musicians like Dave Jorgensen (trumpet, keyboards) and Ian Krist (vibraphone), Blind Pilot crafts music that resonates with a warm, organic authenticity.

Blind Pilot's sound is characterized by its warm, melodic layers and a sense of intimate, acoustic resonance. Their music often features the rich tones of a Martin 000-18 acoustic guitar, which complements the gentle percussion and understated bass lines.
