Brutality is a formidable force within the death metal and grindcore scenes, originating from Florida, USA, in 1988. Known for their relentless aggression and technical precision, the band was initially formed by Scott Reigel (vocals), Don Gates (guitar), Jay Fernandez (guitar), Jeff Acres (bass/vocals), and Jim Coker (drums). With a sound characterized by ferocious rhythms and Reigel's distinctive vocal delivery, Brutality made a significant impact with their debut album Screams Of Anguish and its follow-up, When The Sky Turns Black. Over the years, they have experienced several lineup changes, notably including guitarists Bryan Hipp, Dana Walsh, and Pete Sykes, while maintaining a core of Reigel, Acres, and Coker.
