Calpurnia was a Vancouver-based indie rock band that embodied the youthful exuberance and raw creativity of its four members. Formed by Finn Wolfhard (vocals, guitar), known for his acting career, alongside the prodigious Ayla Tesler-Mabe (lead guitar), Jack Anderson (bass), and Malcolm Craig (drums), the group emerged from the vibrant local music scene. Their sound is a blend of nostalgic influences like The Beatles, Nirvana, and David Bowie, with a modern indie twist, making their music both familiar and fresh.
