Description

The Fender Duo-Sonic HS is an electric guitar that marries classic style with modern versatility, making it a favorite among both budding musicians and seasoned players. Its 24" scale length is a standout feature, offering a unique playing experience with a slinky feel that invites expressive multistep bends and easy chording. This shorter scale is perfect for those with smaller hands, yet it doesn't compromise on delivering a full, vibrant sound.

Fender has equipped the Duo-Sonic HS with a duo of pickups: a Duo-Sonic single-coil and a bridge-position humbucker. The 3-way selector and Master Volume and Tone controls allow for precise sound shaping, while the push-pull tone pot adds an extra layer of versatility by switching the humbucker to single-coil mode. This setup delivers the iconic, glassy Fender tones that are reminiscent of the '50s, with enough output to make your amplifier roar when needed.

The guitar's design is both aesthetically pleasing and functional, featuring a smooth satin-finished neck that promises a fast, comfortable playing experience. The familiar "C" shape neck and 9.5" fretboard radius ensure that any Fender fan will feel right at home. Whether you're playing intricate melodies or striking power chords, the Duo-Sonic HS delivers with clarity and sustain thanks to its string-through-body construction.

Key Features:

  • Based on the original Duo-Sonic guitars from 1956
  • Smaller body with a 24" scale length for comfortable playability
  • Satin neck finish for a fast and smooth feel
  • Duo-Sonic single-coil and bridge-position humbucker pickups
  • Push-pull tone pot for switching humbucker to single-coil mode
  • String-through-body design for enhanced sustain and note definition

Beautiful, comfortable & tough

For my wants & needs it's ticked it all, main attraction was the coil split in the tone knob which is really cool. Neck pickup is underrated & the scale length makes it one of my comfiest guits, can get a bit cramped at the higher frets but it's not a problem, makes up for it with the chord shapes you can pull from the very first fret. Poly finish means you can move it around casually & without too much caution, unlike my Satin finished SG

Originally saw it in the seafoam green & thought "oh cool" but once I saw it in the Daphne I was set & sold
