Daughtry is an American rock band formed in 2006 by Chris Daughtry, a finalist from the fifth season of American Idol. The band hails from North Carolina and features Chris Daughtry (vocals, guitar), Josh Paul (bass guitar), Brian Craddock (guitar), Josh Steely (guitar), and Brandon Maclin (drums). Known for their fusion of rock, alternative rock, pop rock, hard rock, and post-grunge, Daughtry's music resonates with a broad audience, thanks to its powerful melodies and emotionally charged lyrics.
