Fake Problems is a dynamic folk punk and indie punk band originating from the coastal town of Naples, Florida. Initially conceived as a solo project by Chris Farren (vocals, guitar), the group quickly evolved into a full-fledged band with the addition of Derek Perry (bass, vocals), Casey Lee (guitar), and Sean Stevenson (drums). Known for their energetic blend of alt-country, folk, and indie pop, Fake Problems infuse a punk D.I.Y. ethos into their music, creating a sound that resonates with fans of early Against Me! and Whiskeytown. Their journey from local gigs to national tours has been marked by a series of eclectic releases, starting with their 2005 debut, Watching the Bull Get the Matador.
