About
Geggy Tah is an eclectic musical group hailing from Pomona, California, known for their distinctive blend of funk, jazz, alternative, and experimental rock. Originally formed as a duo by Greg Kurstin (vocals, keyboards, production) and Tommy Jordan (vocals, guitar), the group expanded into a trio with the addition of Daren Hahn (drums). The band's name, inspired by the playful mispronunciations of their names by their baby sisters, reflects their quirky and unconventional approach to music. Signed to David Byrne's Luaka Bop label in the early '90s, Geggy Tah has released several critically acclaimed albums, including Grand Opening and Sacred Cow.
