Idlewild is a Scottish rock band originating from Edinburgh, formed in 1995. The group initially consisted of Roddy Woomble (vocals), Rod Jones (guitar), Phil Scanlon (bass), and Colin Newton (drums). Over time, the lineup evolved, with notable members like Bob Fairfoull (bass) and Allan Stewart (guitar) joining the ranks.
