Imperial Drag was a short-lived yet vibrant power pop band that emerged from Los Angeles in the mid-1990s. Formed by Eric Dover (vocals, guitar) and Roger Joseph Manning Jr. (keyboards) after their previous collaboration in Jellyfish, the group also included Joseph Karnes (bass) and Eric Skodis (drums). Known for their bold, glam-infused style and catchy melodies, Imperial Drag crafted a sound that blended retro-rock influences with a modern twist. Despite releasing only one self-titled album in 1996, their dynamic energy and distinctive approach left a lasting impression on the power pop genre.
