Karnivool is a pioneering progressive rock band originating from Perth, Western Australia. Known for their intricate soundscapes and complex rhythms, the group comprises Ian Kenny (vocals), Drew Goddard (guitar), Mark Hosking (guitar), Jon Stockman (bass), and Steve Judd (drums). Since solidifying their lineup in 2004, Karnivool has blended elements of progressive rock, progressive metal, alternative metal, and djent, crafting a unique and powerful sound. Their evolution from the 2005 debut album Themata to the critically acclaimed Asymmetry showcases their mastery in creating emotive melodies and vast soundscapes.
