About

Little Angels is a British glam metal band that originated in Scarborough, England, in 1987. The group was formed by Toby Jepson (vocals, guitar), Jimmy Dickinson (keyboards), Bruce Dickinson (guitar), Mark Plunkett (bass), and Dave Hopper (drums), who was later replaced by Michael Lee. Known for their high-energy performances and catchy hooks, Little Angels gained popularity with their debut mini-LP Too Posh to Mosh and continued to captivate audiences with subsequent releases like Don't Prey for Me and Young Gods. Despite their disbandment in the mid-90s, the band's influence remains notable within the glam metal scene.

How to Sound Like Little Angels

Little Angels' sound is characterized by a blend of driving guitar riffs and melodic harmonies, typical of the glam metal genre. Their music often features crunchy, overdriven guitar tones, achieved through the use of high-gain amplifiers and classic rock-inspired distortion pedals. The keyboard arrangements add a lush, layered texture to their tracks, complementing the powerful rhythmic backbone provided by the bass and drums. Vocals are delivered with a gritty yet melodic edge, enhancing the band's energetic vibe. To emulate the Little Angels' sound, focus on crafting a tight, cohesive mix with saturated tones and dynamic arrangements that balance both melody and power.
