The band consists of Monty Macalino (vocals, guitars), Shan Regalado (drums), Nikki Tirona (bass, backing vocals), Carlo Servano (lead guitars, backing vocals), and Keano Swing (rhythm guitars, backing vocals). With a rich history of creating memorable hits like "Jopay" and "Tayo Na Lang Dalawa," Mayonnaise continues to be a significant force in the Filipino music scene.

How to Sound Like Mayonnaise

Mayonnaise’s sound is characterized by gritty, emotive guitar work and powerful vocal delivery, creating a robust yet melodic rock experience. Their music often features the resonant, full-bodied tones of Les Paul-style guitars, such as the Epiphone Les Paul Custom Pro and Gibson Les Paul Tribute 2017 T Goldtop, which are central to Monty Macalino's setup. The band's energetic and rhythmic drive is complemented by precise, punchy drumming and a solid bass foundation, allowing their songs to flow with both intensity and grace. The use of distortion and overdrive pedals enhances their sound, adding an edge that resonates with their alternative rock roots, while melodic elements ensure their music remains accessible and emotionally engaging.
