Nine Below Zero is a dynamic English band that emerged from the vibrant South London music scene in 1977. Known for their high-energy performances and a sound deeply rooted in blues, blues rock, and mod revival, the group was founded by Dennis Greaves (lead vocals, guitar), Peter Clark (bass), and Kenny Bradley (drums), with Mark Feltham later joining to lend his talents on vocals and harmonica. Initially cutting their teeth as "Stan's Blues Band," they quickly carved out a niche with their spirited take on classic Chicago blues, drawing influence from seminal acts like The Who and The Kinks.

Nine Below Zero’s sonic character is a blend of raw, energetic blues rock with a modern twist, characterized by gritty guitar riffs and a driving rhythm section. Their sound is both aggressive and melodic, with an emphasis on dynamic harmonica lines that add a layer of soulful intensity.
