They were later joined by Jeff Jones (bass) and Tom Cochrane (vocals, guitar), who played a significant role in the band's creative direction. Known for their energetic blend of rock, new wave, and pop rock, Red Rider enjoyed considerable success in Canada with hits like "White Hot" and "Lunatic Fringe."
