Rockpile was a British rock band that became a defining force in the late 1970s music scene, known for their energetic fusion of rock, power pop, roots rock, rockabilly, and pub rock. The group was formed as a collaboration between prominent musicians Dave Edmunds (vocals, guitar) and Nick Lowe (vocals, bass), joined by Billy Bremner (guitar, vocals) and Terry Williams (drums). While they only released one album as a collective, Seconds of Pleasure, Rockpile's influence is enduring, as they brought their vibrant live energy to the recordings and tours of both Edmunds and Lowe, leaving a lasting mark on the post-punk new wave era.
