Sear Bliss is a Hungarian symphonic black metal and folk metal band known for their melodic approach within the extreme metal scene. Formed in Szombathely, Hungary in 1993, the group was initiated by András Nagy (vocals, bass, guitar, keyboards) and Csaba Tóth (bass). Over the years, Sear Bliss has seen numerous lineup changes, with notable members including János Barbarics (guitar), Norbert Keibinger (drums), and later additions like Gergely Szücs (trumpet, keyboards) and Zoltán Csejtei (drums). Their music blends elements of black metal, folk metal, and atmospheric black metal, often incorporating unconventional instruments like trombone, trumpet, flute, and violin to enrich their sound.
