The Deadlights was a Southern California quartet known for their alternative metal, rap metal, and nu metal sound. Formed by vocalist Duke and drummer Jim Falcone, the lineup was completed with Jerry Montano on bass guitar and Billy Roan on lead guitar. Their intense live performances in the late '90s alongside bands like System of a Down and Coal Chamber quickly earned them attention. Signed by Elektra Records, they released their self-titled debut album in 2000, produced by Sylvia Massey.
