About
The Jaded Hearts Club is a modern rock supergroup that blends the talents of renowned musicians from various celebrated bands. Formed in 2017, the group includes Miles Kane (vocals) of The Last Shadow Puppets, Nic Cester (vocals) from Jet, Graham Coxon (guitar) of Blur, Jamie Davis (guitar), Matt Bellamy (bass) from Muse, and Sean Payne (drums) of The Zutons. Originating from a spontaneous Beatles tribute for a birthday celebration, their passion for music quickly evolved into a project that revives and reimagines classic Northern Soul tracks with a raw, modern twist. Rooted in their collective love for the rich tapestry of 60s British rock and soul, The Jaded Hearts Club delivers a nostalgic yet fresh take on timeless sounds.
How to Sound Like The Jaded Hearts Club
The Jaded Hearts Club's sound is characterized by its energetic and soulful rock edge, combining the gritty nuances of classic soul with the modern intensity of rock. Their music often features fuzz-laden bass lines and dynamic guitar riffs, creating a vibrant and powerful atmosphere reminiscent of the 60s rock era. Instruments like the ZVEX Vexter Series Fuzz Factory and Electro-Harmonix XO Deluxe Memory Man contribute to their sonic landscape, adding layers of distorted richness and echoing depth. The band's rhythm section maintains a driving groove, deeply rooted in the soulful heart of Northern Soul, while the dual vocalists deliver impassioned performances, bridging the gap between homage and innovation.
