The Strypes were an Irish rock band known for their energetic blend of blues, blues rock, and garage rock. Hailing from Cavan, Ireland, the group was formed by four young musicians: Ross Farrelly (vocals, harmonica), Josh McClorey (guitar, vocals), Pete O'Hanlon (bass, harmonica), and Evan Walsh (drums). The band's retro-inspired sound drew heavily from classic rock and roll influences and quickly earned them recognition for their dynamic live performances and youthful exuberance.
