Vektor is a formidable force in the progressive metal scene, known for their intricate compositions and aggressive thrash metal energy. Originally formed in Tempe, Arizona in 2002 by frontman and guitarist David DiSanto, the band later moved to Philadelphia, carrying their blend of progressive metal, thrash metal, speed metal, and groove metal to new audiences. Vektor's lineup has seen various changes, with DiSanto remaining the core member, while other notable musicians like Erik Nelson (guitar) and Frank Chin (bass) have contributed to their dynamic sound. Renowned for their technical prowess and ambitious storytelling, Vektor has shared the stage with legendary acts such as Testament and Iced Earth.
